DROP OFF / PICK UP TIMES - 7-8 IN THE MORNING, 4-5 IN THE AFTERNOON

The fee for boarding at the Back Forty Kennel for 2024 is and all-inclusive $45 per day, per dog. This means we do not charge for anything else; this will include medications if needed, extra play, extended periods of outside time or just time in our kennel living room laying on couches watching TV. Plus, we will send you videos and pictures while you are away if you would like.

We require a credit card on file to make a reservation. If reservation is cancelled more than 30 days before the reservation, there is no fee. Cancellation less than 30 days from the reservation the fee will be ½ of the payment. less than 15 days full payment is required. Holiday weekends cancelled less than 30 days from reservation will require full payment for reservation. Holiday schedules are the two weeks surrounding that holiday.

Our fee includes individual 3’ x 5’ kennels for the dogs to eat and sleep in. We have a TV in the kennel area for the dogs to see. In the evening the volume is turned off and dog calming music is softly played until morning. The personal kennels are equipped with aluminum Kuranda beds, and food and water dishes secured in the doors. We try our best to keep the dogs out of their kennels as much as possible. All boarders are allowed to play if they get along with their kennel mates and only under supervision. We have a private dog park the size of a football field and two small kennels outside. A large inside play area for days when the weather is not agreeable. Dogs are together for play after they are evaluated for temperament, energy level, socialization and are always supervised.

You would be required to supply Vet records for Rabies, Distemper and Kennel Cough before the pup stays with us and food for their stay. Kennels are heated and air conditioned. All extra play time and couch and TV time and naps by the fireplace is on the house.

Kennel visits are scheduled on Saturday mornings by appointment.
